Minister of State for EU Relations
A graduate of law (dr. iur.) of the University of Miskolc, Judit Varga was appointed Minister of State for EU Relations within the Prime Minister’s Office in May 2018. Prior to her appointment in the Hungarian administration, Judit worked as Policy Advisor in the office of several Hungarian MEPs (including János Áder, now President of the Republic). Earlier stations of her career include Trainee Associate positions at the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Law Office and the Hogan & Hartson Law Office, Budapest, as well as a three-year service as Judicial Law Clerk at the Metropolitan Court of Budapest. She passed the Hungarian bar examination in 2009.
A mother of three, Judit is a passionate sportswoman.
Apart from her native Hungarian, she speaks English, German, French and Spanish.
