Tamás Kozma heads the Asian and African Relations Department of the Antall József Knowledge Centre, in Budapest, Hungary. Also, he is Associate Research Fellow at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and Non-Resident Fellow at TRENDS Research and Advisory in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Tamás is doctoral candidate in Geopolitics at the University of Pécs while he holds BA and MA degrees in International Relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest. His primary research interests include the energy geopolitics in Turkey, the Caspian Sea Basin, Central Asia, and the broader Middle East. His doctoral dissertation is focusing on Turkey’s energy policy aspirations, its participation in international energy projects, and its energy-based cooperation with different countries. Tamás’s articles have been published in the Asian Journal of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, Turkish Policy Quarterly, and a number of Hungarian journals and textbooks.
