A graduate of Corvinus University of Budapest with a Master’s degree in International Relations, András Lázár has worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary since 2013. He is currently (for the second time) Hungary’s National Visegrad Coordinator, and Chief of Staff for the Ministerial Commissioner in charge of Hungary’s 2021-22 Presidency of the Visegrad Group. Previously, he held positions at the Central Europe Department and the Strategic Planning Department. He was a guest lecturer at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in 2018, and he contributed to several conferences as well as publications on Central Europe. In 2019-20, he was Hungary’s Transatlantic Diplomatic Fellow at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.
