Caroline Kanter has been the director of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in France since August 2020. Before that, she headed the foundation's office responsible for Italy / Vatican / Malta based in Rome (Oct. 2014-May 2020). At the foundation's headquarters, she worked as a country officer for Southeast Asia (2013-2014) and Western Europe (2009-2012). After studying political science in Germany and the USA, she began working at KAS as a research officer in the Washington DC office. She gained further professional experience at Georgetown University and the French business school ESSEC in the area of executive education.
