She earned her Master’s degree in Security and Strategic Studies at Masaryk University (Czech republic) in 2012 after she completed a year in Peace and Conflict programme at the University of Toronto (Canada) and a term of European Studies at the University Chemnitz (Germany). She interned for Amnesty International General Secretariat in London and Slovak Governance Institute. Karolina started her professional career in 2011 working as a research assistant to a Member of parliament in Slovakia. Since 2014, Karolína Koščová has lived and worked in Brussels as a political adviser and parliamentary assistant in the European Parliament, where she deals with internal security issues, media and democracy.
